Your right to a healthcare contact person
All patients that are admitted for more than two days,
or patients who have more than two outpatient visits at the hospital, have the right to a healthcare contact person.
The contact person can be a doctor, nurse, or another healthcare professional who is employed in the department where you’re being treated.
The contact person knows about you and your situation, and must ensure that there is consistency in your treatment, and that you receive the information you want.
You can use the contact person to get answers to the questions that you have in terms of your hospitalisations, treatment, post-treatment, etc.
